It is a tragic ironyโ€”almost comedic in its absurdityโ€”that politicians from Nigeria, a nation submerged in ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ซ๐จ๐ญ, ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ž ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐œ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐›๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐–๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ, would dare to condemn Captain Ibrahim Traorรฉ and the revolutionary direction of Burkina Faso.

These are men and women from a polity where ๐š ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐š๐ซ๐›๐ข๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐œ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฎ๐ง๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐š๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ without public outcryโ€”where the rule of law is not a sacred principle but a tool of convenience in the hands of the powerful.

Yet he presumes to preach constitutionalism to a people forging their own path toward self-determination?

The ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐œ๐ข๐š๐ซ๐ฒ, meant to be the last bastion of justice, has become a hollow institutionโ€”๐š ๐ฌ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐ซ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ฌ who issue rulings not guided by jurisprudence, but by whispered instructions from the corridors of political power. These courts no longer protect the people; they protect the predators in power.

The National Assembly, which ought to embody the voice of the people, has been reduced to a congregation of kleptocrats, narcotics traffickers, morally bankrupt power brokers, and opportunists, ever eager to echo sycophantic praise to the executive in exchange for contracts, cash, or political protection. These are not lawmakersโ€”they are court jesters in agbadas, dancing for the king in a crumbling palace.

And yet, these same political actors have the temerityโ€”the unblushing arroganceโ€”to castigate Burkina Faso for having a military leader?

Captain Ibrahim Traorรฉ stands as a symbol of unyielding African resistanceโ€”a young, visionary leader who has rejected the neocolonial chokehold of the West. He has reclaimed the sovereignty of his people, expelling exploitative foreign powers, confronting corrupt elites, and placing African dignity above personal comfort or Western validation.

Under his leadership, Burkina Faso has rekindled the spirit of Thomas Sankaraโ€”a spirit long extinguished in countries like Nigeria, where revolutionary ideals have been bartered for foreign loans, luxury SUVs, and secret offshore accounts.

Traorรฉ is not perfect, but he represents ๐š ๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉโ€”๐Ÿ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐ฎ๐ง๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐›๐ž๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ . While Nigerian leaders surrender their mandate to foreign embassies and IMF prescriptions, Traorรฉ looks inwardโ€”to the land, to the youth, to African solutions.

To Nigerian politicians serving as ๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐›๐จ๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐›๐š๐ฅ ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ž, understand this: You do not possess the moral currency to critique those who are actually attempting to liberate Africa. Your hands are too stained, your record too shameful, and your conscience too deadened by greed.

History will not be kind to cowards in power who mocked a revolution while kneeling to imperial puppeteers.

Burkina Faso may be under military leadershipโ€”but it walks upright. Nigeria may claim democracyโ€”but it crawls in chains.
